Camera straps! I actually use the Black Rapid strap you mentioned and I really like it. I never use a tri-pod so that part was always a moot-point until just recently. I actually finally man-upped and got myself a Manfrotto ballhead for a monopod I recently inherited as I’ve been shooting my wife’s roller-derby games lately and decided I really need the stability. Anywho, the Manfrotto plate has a loop on the bottom so I can just plug that onto the Black Rapid clasp instead of the default one and when I need to throw it on the head I can just unhook the clasp and plug it straight in.

The Lens-loop thing sounds pretty awesome… can’t wait to hear your mini-review on it.
